Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was able to defeat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her an unanimous decision. This put the mark of a loss on Aspen's record as an amateur. Ladd took her match with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen became a professional in the year 2015, and was signed by Invicta FC to make her professional debut. InvictaFC 11 was her first professional fight. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and prevailed via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to defeat McGill in third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 at weight of catchweight (138.1lb), as Ladd did not have enough weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. In her last fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks in a unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd defeated Evinger with a punch during the initial round, she was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus. Her first fight of note came with her next bout in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters received the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds, breaking the streak of winning. After a break of a few seconds her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously against her.
