Elizabeth Gillies is a singer, songwriter, and an actress from the United States. She is known as Lucy from her role on the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious and Jade West for the musical 13. Her career began in commercials. The Black Donnellys (2007) was her debut appearance on TV. She played Jade West from 2010-13 in the Nickelodeon show Victorious. Her main role was in FX's comedy Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll (2015). Elizabeth Egan Gillies' family resides in Haworth, New Jersey where she was born. In 2010 she was nominated to the Critics Choice Movie Awards for the best young actress for her role in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. The year after, her appearance in Super 8 as the main role earned she the Spotlight Award for the Hollywood film festival. She played the titular role as the titular character We Bought a Zoo, Ginger & Rosa and Maleficent.
